VENEZUELAN MAN AND WOMAN, PAJARO AND LA BUCCIQUITA FOLKLORE DOLLS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. The male doll still has the tag on bottom of his wood base. Both are marked on bottom of base. , handpainted faces and felt clothed bodies. Very clean and excellent. Each measures about 9.5".

THIS AUCTION IS FOR A LOVELY, VERY CLEAN, COLOR VIBRANT 4 PIECE FAMILY DOLL SET PURCHASED IN AND MADE LOCALLY IN VENEZUELA, SOUTH AMERCIA IN THE EARLY 1950'S. THEY WERE BOUGHT FOR ME WHEN WE LIVED IN CARACAS, THE COUNTRY'S CAPITAL. SET IS MADE UP OF FATHER, MOTHER (carrying a baby on her back - see other picture), BROTHER AND SISTER. ALL IN NATIVE COSTUME. PARENTS ARE APPROXIMATELY 7 1/4" TALL; BOTH CHILDREN ARE APPROXIMATELY 5" TALL. MEASUREMENTS INCLUDE BASE. MADE OF CLOTH BODIES, HANDSEWN AND MACHINE STITCHED CLOTHING STILL VIBRANT IN COLOR. BACKPACK ITEMS ARE HAND MADE OF WOOD AND OTHER MATERIALS. ALL CLOTH APPEARS TO BE HAND LOOMED.
