THIS IS A EARLY AMERICAN KIMCRAFT 10' LINCOLN DOLL.Kimport -Kimcraft made these hand carved wooden annd hand painted dolls in Independence Mo. during the 40's. Each doll was of a noted figure--this one being Abe Lincoln. What a marvelous work of art. The head is made of carved wood- body is cloth-he is dressed in a black felt tail coat outfit----- his top hat is in his hand-his shoes are black and sturdy. The Kimcraft label is stitched on the tail coat.Condition is as new- a rare find for the Lincoln or early Americana collector.
