Creating a Lending Library Museum
I started collecting dolls in quanity in 2000,starting with dolls and stuffed animals, and even music boxes and a few books with a ballet theme. Then I moved on to First Lady dolls after purchsing a few at an antique store. Someone sent me a lot with international dolls, and at that point I realized that I had in fact found my preferred niche. I began visiting doll museums across the country and formulated the idea of a lending library for dolls from my collection

Now I find that I have a very large collection that are not organized and certainly not well stored. I have a database started in Microsoft Access to input data about the dolls and also provide an accession number for their organization. Getting this database done and getting the dolls properly stored may well take me the better part of the year.
