I recently read your email, asking if anyone was interested in a 6 month exchange with you. I imagine you'll have had a lot of replies, but whatever - here's another one expressing interest. I work at London Guildhall University, which is based in the Aldgate and Moorgate areas of the city. My job is that of Subject Librarian, responsible for resourcing courses in Psychology, Computing and Civil Aviation. I am also one of three librarians responsible for developing and updating the library's Aviation. I am also one of three librarians responsible for developing and updating the library's web pages (URL: http://www.lgu.ac.uk/phil/homepage.htm) In addition to the above, I also do general library duties including enquiry work. I live in Forest Hill, South London, 12 minutes from London by train. The journey into work usually takes around 45 minutes. You would be welcome to use my flat (which has two bedrooms) for the duration. If you think you might be interested, let me know. Like you I have not approached my employers. I think they may well be sympathetic but, like me, their first question would probably be 'when are you proposing to do this?' I would also be interested to know (if you do) what I would also be interested to know (if you do) what duties of yours the exchangee would be expected to carry out. But enough questions - get in touch if you're interested! If you are, I'm sure we'll both have a lot more questions to ask.
